The Experience
Your Zero Gravity Flight will allow you to fulfil your dreams of becoming an Astronaut! The IL-76 aircraft flies multiple parabola, one after another, allowing you to experience complete weightlessness.
On the day before your flight you will have a medical check up at the Cosmonaut Training Centre (ZPK). This is combined with a guided tour of the Star City where you can see a 1:1 mockup of the MIR Space Station, the Hydrolab where cosmonauts train to move in space suits and the world's largest centrifuge that rotates up to 36 times per minute, exerting up to 12 G Force on its occupant.
On the morning of your zero gravity flight you will arrive at the ZPK, where you will be taken by bus to the aircraft accompanied by pilots and physicians as well as other participants. On the aircraft you will receive instructions and will be issued with parachutes, not just for your safety but also so the instructors are able to assist you during the weightlessness phases.
The inside of the cabin on the IL-76 aircraft has been padded in order to prevent injuries to passengers during the zero gravity flights.
