The Experience
The Audi R8 V8 is built for time on a race circuit, with a low driving position and a V8 engine that carries across the track as the car moves through each lap.
You arrive at the circuit and head out to the track in the Audi R8 V8, a car known for its low stance and distinctive sound. The 4.2-litre V8 builds through each straight, with the engine note carrying across the circuit as the speed rises.
Each circuit includes straights for acceleration and corners for braking and turning, with each lap following the same route. The V8 builds along the straights and drops as the car moves into each turn.
The Audi R8 V8 is built as a supercar designed for both road and track use, developed to compete with models such as the Porsche 911 Carrera 2S.

Important Information
Drivers can take part from as young as 10 years old, provided they can safely reach the pedals using the padding supplied. The minimum height for junior drivers is 140 cm.
Most instructors are ARDS or ADI qualified, and all staff are police checked for added reassurance.
Once a date has been booked, the experience cannot be cancelled or refunded. If a car or event becomes unavailable through no fault of the customer, an alternative vehicle or a new date will be offered.
As events can occasionally be cancelled at short notice, it’s recommended not to book non-refundable accommodation. Changes can be made up to 7 days before the event for a £5 admin fee. Within 7 days, an admin fee of £29 per car applies. Fees may be higher for premium venues or specialist experiences.
Your Golden Moments voucher is not a ticket - please activate your voucher at www.goldenmoments.co.uk/redemption so we can arrange your booking for you.
The Weather
Events go ahead in all weather conditions. Sessions will only be cancelled if the conditions are considered unsafe for driving on track.
Session Length
Experiences are measured in miles, but track layouts and speeds vary by venue. A 3-mile drive usually lasts around 10 minutes, while a 6-mile drive is typically closer to 15 minutes.
Numbers
Your voucher is valid for one person and your in-car training is on a one-to-one basis, although safety briefings may be shared.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome, but clear views of the track can’t always be guaranteed. Parking costs £2 per vehicle at most locations, while premium venues offer free parking. Dogs are not permitted at the venues, with the exception of registered guide dogs.
What To Wear
All events take place outdoors, so come prepared for the weather. Even on a sunny day, it can get quite windy at airfields and circuits, so bringing a coat or umbrella is a good idea.
For driving, wear trainers or flat, sensible shoes along with comfortable trousers. You’ll be asked to remove your right shoe before driving for safety reasons.
Availability
You can enjoy your driving experience on selected dates throughout the year.
