You will start your day by heading to the flight base in Sion, located in the Swiss Canton of Valais. Once you arrive at the airfield, you will meet your pilot and go through a clear thorough safety briefing. This briefing covers the essential systems of the Aero L-39 Albatros, the flight gear you will wear and what to expect when you are up in the air.
After you are geared up and ready, you will walk out to the aircraft and get securely strapped into the cockpit. The pilot will explain the instruments and controls before the jet engines start up and you taxi onto the runway. As you take off, you will immediately feel the immense speed of the jet as it climbs quickly into the alpine sky.
Once you reach the right altitude, the real flying begins. Because you are flying directly over the high Alps instead of flat ground, the sense of scale and speed is massive. Your pilot will demonstrate genuine combat flying skills, taking you through a series of tactical manoeuvres. You will feel the heavy physical pull of loops, Cuban eights and controlled spins, seeing the mountain peaks rotate around the canopy as you fly upside down.
Throughout the thirty-minute flight, you will feel the highly responsive nature of the jet as the pilot navigates the alpine terrain. You will get an authentic look at how military pilots handle these machines in close proximity to the mountains. Once the aerobatics are finished, the jet will head back down to the Sion base for a landing.

To take part in this fighter jet experience in Switzerland, you'll need to be in very good physical condition. There is a maximum height restriction, being 6.4ft and there is also a maximum weight, which is 230lbs.
