The Experience
Your flight starts at the airfield in Beromünster, where you will check in and meet the team. Before heading to the aircraft, you will receive a short safety briefing that covers the basics of the helicopter and what to expect while in the air.
Once the pre-flight checks are complete, you will step inside the cabin and get settled into your seat. The pilot starts the engine, and you will feel the lift as the helicopter leaves the ground and begins its ascent. As you climb, the ground drops away quickly, opening up a view that reaches across the landscape.
The pilot steers the aircraft toward Lucerne, guiding you over the area so you can see how the city sits right against the edge of the water. You will fly past the ridges of the Swiss Alps, which gives you a clear look at the scale of the mountains compared to the valleys below. The helicopter provides a steady platform, making it easy to look out of the large windows and spot local landmarks along the shores of Lake Lucerne.
Throughout the journey, the pilot handles the navigation while you take in the changing perspective from the cabin. The trip gives you a solid understanding of how the towns, lakes, and peaks all fit together. After completing the loop, the aircraft heads back toward Beromünster for a smooth landing to finish the session.
