The Experience
Experience the countryside at its most peaceful with this Horse Drawn Carriage Experience with Lunch for Two in Skipwith, North Yorkshire.
Your half day begins at Little Skipwith Carriage Rides, where you’ll meet the friendly team and their impressive horses. Back at the stables, help untack and wash the horses before returning them to the field. Drinks are available throughout, and you’ll round off the experience with a hearty Ploughman’s lunch or afternoon tea made with local produce.

The Weather
What if it rains? Each carriage has a rain canopy with side windows so you can still enjoy the views and your tour without getting wet. Hot water bottles and blankets are provided to keep you warm in the colder months.
This experience does not operate in high winds, ice or snowy conditions or very hot weather.
Extreme Weather Policy: Hot Weather
While heat may not be considered extreme in the UK, caution is taken when we experience a prolonged period of abnormally hot weather. We deem this to be when temperatures are consistently above 30 degrees for more than a few days. Under these heatwave conditions both horses and humans are at risk of collapse from heat exhaustion, so in this situation, consideration and care is taken and bookings may be cancelled and or rescheduled to the cooler times of the day.
Session Length
Your day will last around 3 hours.
Numbers
Your voucher is valid for two people. It is possible to upgrade to a full day experience - please contact us for more details.
