For some 40 years, the magnificent Royal Yacht Britannia cruised round the world carrying the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh on 968 State visits.

They sailed more than a million miles, entertaining impressed prime ministers, presidents and foreign monarchs, while keeping the flag flying for Great Britain.

Now is your chance to visit this magnificent ship restored to all its former glory at Leith, just a stones’ throw from Edinburgh’s Waverley Station.

Voted Tripadvisor’s Number One UK Attraction in 2024, the five decks reveal stories of life at sea for both the Royal Family and the 220 crew.

It’s plain sailing all the way on the Northern Belle from the moment you board over a red carpet, sink back into your luxury armchair and are handed a sparking Mimosa cocktail.

A mouth-watering three-course brunch follows as we travel north to Edinburgh before your private transfer from Waverley Station to Leith.

Later you will return to the train for more champagne before a sumptuous six-course dinner with fine wines is served during a memorable journey home.

As you dine, you will be serenaded by our onboard musicians, while a conjuror gets up to his tricks as he wanders from table to table to add a touch of magic.

The train is not suitable for wheelchair users. A wheelchair can be stored on board (if foldable), but can't be used on the train. Please note: Train tickets are dispatched 5-7 days prior to departure.
